Interise Alum Todd Snopkowski of Snapchef receives 2016 Good Citizens Award

BOSTON -- Citizens Bank Senior Vice President, Middle Market Banking and Chairman of the Board of Interise, Joe Wadlinger, presented the second annual Citizens Bank Good Citizens Award to 2007 StreetWise 'MBA'TM alum Todd Snopkowski, owner and CEO of Snapchef. Snapchef is a Boston-based culinary workers employment firm that last year trained and placed more than 1,200 workers, predominantly residents of low-income neighborhoods.

The award was presented at thrive! 2016, an annual event which celebrates the more than 4,000 small enterprises Interise has supported over the past decade. These established small businesses bring jobs and economic opportunities to low-income communities.

Interise Alum Denise Navarro Named 2016 Houston Small Business Person of the Year

2016 SBA Houston participant, Denise Navarro, was just named the U.S. Small Business Administration 2016 Houston District Small Business Person of the Year!

Her company, Logical Innovations, Inc., was also recognized as one of nine elite winners in Houston's 2016 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For competition due to a strong community focus, a culture of giving back, and a commitment to its employees.

Interise alum Doreen Blades selected for Statewide Contract with MBTA

The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) is working with the Operational Services Division to transition their state funded procurement and purchasing activity to Statewide Contracts and the Commonwealth’s online procurement center, COMMBUYS.

2016 Boston StreetWise 'MBA'TM participant, Doreen Blades of Us Eco Products, Corporation will be one of the vendors on the Statewide Contract ITS53 with the MBTA.
