Join our growing network of successful small business entrepreneurs! Interise offers two programs for urban entrepreneurs: our signature nine-month 'StreetWise MBA™' and NextYear™ for recent graduates of the 'StreetWise MBA' program.
Through our partnership with the Small Business Administration (SBA), we offer StreetWise Steps to Small Business Growth™, the curriculum used in the 'StreetWise MBA' program, to participants in the Emerging 200 Initiative. The program is currently running in ten cities across the country, including: Albuquerque; Atlanta; Baltimore; Boston; Chicago; Des Moines; Memphis; Milwaukee; New Orleans; Philadelphia.
The core of the Interise program model, the 'StreetWise MBA', is a unique nine-month certificate program for senior-level management. The program offers entrepreneurs an opportunity to learn about a wide variety of business and management topics including financial modeling, marketing, human resources, and scaling/growth. At the program's conclusion, entrepreneurs produce a three-year strategic growth action plan.
After completing the 'StreetWise MBA', entrepreneurs can register for NextYear, a 12-month program focused on growth plan implementation. Starting in 2009, alumni will also be eligible to join our StreetWise Exchange, a membership alliance of urban entrepreneurs, instructors, facilitators, investors, and business experts.
