Welcome to Interise, an award-winning organization dedicated to filling the gap in small business development. Our focus is on existing urban businesses capable of growth. During our nine-month ‘StreetWise M.B.A.’™ program, entrepreneurs set specific milestones, develop a three-year strategic growth plan, and network with peers, experts, coaches, and capital providers.

The result is an effective model that turns plans into action, boosts business, and addresses many of the core problems facing urban communities today by creating jobs, generating wealth, and developing community leaders.

Partnership with SBA

Interise is the national instructional provider for the Small Business Administration's Emerging 200 Initiative. Since 2008, more than 400 entrepreneurs in 15 cities across the country have participated in this program focusing on small business growth and job creation.
